This morning* I am presenting to a roomful of police officers on the subject of Forensic Data Recovery.

The point of my presentation is to let these forensic experts know that even if they think that the data is lost because the hard drive is damages* then all is not necessarily lost. The final option is to send the data to Disklabs* who using their respective skills in both Data Recovery and Computer Forensics* are likely to be able to retrieve data from the device in a forensically sound way. This is great news* because there is now a chance that the police have another chance of being able to retrieve data* therefore find evidence* therefore make a prosecution. Until we came up with this solution* this was not possible.

Still* I will attempt to blog later tonight about this and see if my presentation was or was not inspiring to the forces or not?
